Pushing Into Joy: Review

Pushing Into Joy is made of 27 Invitations To A Life Marked By Joy. Part devotional and part challenge, Hannah Grimley weaves her journey of joy into a lifestyle everyone can implement. Through the struggles of life, we all have a choice. We can spiral into gloom, letting our emotions and circumstances dictate what we believe, or we can seek and find  joy in the everyday. We seek joy on the good days and we push into joy on the hard days. Our joy is secure and available to us every day, in everything, if we press into it. These 27 invitations rooted in various areas of life and struggle are a challenge and opportunity to start making joy a habit of our lives. Joy is no longer an idea, but a reality. Hannah’s debut is a beautiful collection of stories from her own journey of pushing into joy through her faith and choosing to see God in everyday moments.

I love getting to support fellow writers on their journey. Hannah is a member of Hope* Writers, a writing community I have been apart of for a couple of years now. When Hannah posted about Pushing Into Joy, I knew I had to be apart of her launch. Joy is what I want to define my life. At the end of all my days, I want to be remembered as a woman who was joyful. I enjoyed Hannah’s 27 invitations, they are vulnerable, honest, and easy to reflect on over coffee. With journaling space inside and gorgeous illustrations, Pushing Into Joy is both a reflective and encouraging resource on practically finding joy in your everyday life. This would make a great gift for any woman in your life, and would be a fun journey to go on with friends; challenging each other to find joy in the midst of the crazy.

You can order Pushing Into Joy Here and join the Pushing Into Joy community by using the #pushingintojoy and sharing how you are finding joy in your everyday.
